Travel Consultant – Focus on Air and Special Travel
Location:

Your responsibilities:
-
Plan, book and manage flight arrangements as well as additional services (e.g. hotels, rail, transfers)
-
Coordinate individual and group trips, often with short-notice changes and special requirements
-
Act as a dedicated contact for a defined portfolio of institutional and public sector clients – mainly by phone and e-mail
-
Handle rebookings, cancellations and changes, including clear documentation of reasons and costs
-
Contribute your ideas to continuously improving our processes, tools and reporting in a growing team
Your profile:
-
Completed vocational training in travel or tourism (e.g. travel agent / tourism clerk) or a comparable qualification
-
Professional experience in flight and/or business travel management, ideally with corporate or public sector customers
-
Confident user of common booking systems (e.g. GDS such as Amadeus) and airline portals
-
Strong service mindset, structured and reliable working style, comfortable working under time pressure and with changing requirements
-
High level of discretion and sense of responsibility; very good German and good English skills, plus willingness to undergo a background / security check if required
Head of Travel Operations

Your responsibilities:

Lead and develop a small travel operations team, including staffing, onboarding, coaching and day-to-day guidance
-
Take overall responsibility for the planning, booking and coordination of complex individual and group trips for institutional and public sector clients

Work hands-on in daily operations yourself, especially in demanding or time-critical cases
-
Design, document and continuously improve workflows, service standards and reporting structures in a growing department
-
Ensure compliance with internal and client-specific requirements (service quality, data protection, security, availability / on-call structures)
Your profile:
-
Completed vocational training in travel or tourism (e.g. travel agent / tourism clerk) or a comparable qualification with a strong focus on travel operations
-
Several years of professional experience in business travel, flight or special travel management; initial leadership / team lead experience is a strong plus

Confident user of common booking systems (e.g. GDS such as Amadeus) and airline portals, combined with a solution-oriented mindset

Hands-on leadership style: you enjoy building structures, taking responsibility, making decisions and working operationally with your team

Pre-flight planning, flight execution and post-flight debriefing and documentation

Contributing to the development of our operational procedures and safety systems, including the expansion of our platform
Your profile:

Valid EASA license (CPL or ATPL) with relevant flight experience, ideally in surveillance and special mission operations

Experience in a leadership role within the aviation sector (e.g. Chief Pilot, Flight Operations Manager or similar)

Confident in mission management, Crew Resource Management (CRM) and communication with international partners
-
Excellent spoken and written English skills (minimum ICAO Level 5)

Sensor Operator / Mission Systems Specialist

Operation and monitoring of advanced sensor systems (including EO/IR and radar) during mission flights

Real-time detection and tracking of objects and events according to mission objectives

Quality assurance of transmitted data and reporting assistance
Your profile:

Completed technical or military training in communications technology, aerial imagery analysis, ISR or a related field

General radio operator's certificate for aviation (AROC)

Leadership and coordination of operational activities at the deployment base

Acting as liaison between the mission crew, clients and local authorities

Ensuring smooth operations in logistics, infrastructure, personnel

Organizing briefings, accommodation, transportation, supply of materials and on-site security measures
-
Contributing to mission preparation, follow-ups and continuous improvement of operational processes
Your profile:
-
Experience in managing deployment stations, ground operations or aviation-related mission coordination
-
Strong organizational skills, initiative and excellent communication cabilities
-
Knowledge of mission logistics, infrastructure management and international cooperation
-
Good English skills (minimum level B2), additional languages are a plus
-
High willingness to work at varying deployment locations and flexible working hours
